| few pics from today... finally unwrapped my 2ws subframe... gonna get the wire wheel on it and clean it up.. been as the weathers been so great today i thought it rude not to take the bumper off and put the AEM on...what a job...will be a pisser having to take the bumper off everytime the filter needs cleaning was a bugger to get on....the whole left by all the now redundant air filter gubbins was just a little too small for the pipe to go through, so i had to open it up a little...then paint it to seal the bare metal edges left. also put my black honda badges on...aint to happy with the quality so i think ill spray the originals black and put em back on yes my car is filthy in the pics....it aint now...lol the eagle eyed amoungst you will have also spotted the feet off of an ebay strut brace i had a go at fitting.... it just wouldnt go on, where am i going wrong....the alloy bar seems too long to go between the two feet...i tried jacking it right up, one side, the other, both wheels...nothing...what am i doing wrong guys?? | |

| few updates..... took a trip to pickup some honda access carpet mats...colour will take a little getting used to, and they need a damn good clean, ran a vax carpet cleaner over em but still look grubby...front two are in great condition, but the binding on one of the back ones has freyed and come away, know anyone who can re bind em?
carpet matts ok to jet wash?
finally fitted strut brace, had to cut two cm off each end and take the adjuster nuts off to get it narrow enough...crazy
subframe is stripped and ready for hammerite and fitting weather permitting on saturday, wheels are totally stripped and in primer...gloss black on its way...
bought a box for my sub and fitted it all up, and finally wired in the ipod...
pics up soon as i find my phone lead | |
