| So I finally got hold of a set of ramps to get the car in the air so I could heatwrap the exhaust. Was only really expecting to get about half way before running out of wrap but in the end the entire exhaust is now wrapped from head to tip except the two silencers as I had no way of securing the wrap around them. Absolutely stunk when I let the car warm up afterwards, the exhaust sounds a little more raspy now, but more Ferrari raspy than a 1.5lsi mad tyte vtak with twin 12" backboxes. Also finally got rid of the s80 and am going to pick up Dave_T's greddy oil cooler setup and have a wideband in the post to get my gauges started. | |

| Stokes too me maybe two hours altogether, after I'd done most the front I found a sweet technique that made it so much easier and saved so much wrap aswell. And mouse I know, I'm gonna have a plate made up extending from my dash to the floor, like a custom centre section where I can mount all the gauges I want. Just need to start buying them all now, oil temp, pressure, water temp, wideband, and god knows what else at the minute. Might even be able to mount a radio in there and some tiny speakers for road use. | |

| Supposedly, the exhaust will stay hotter allowing gases to flow through it faster, meaning more gases can be pulled from the manifold meaning each combustion cycle can maintain it's optimum efficiency and work in it's optimal range. Supposedly. I ordered 30 metres so had more than enough to do it when it's mapped I guess the tuner will be able to comment on if it is having a positive effect. Oh and it should pop/bang/flame more aswell being hotter than normal, we are all a little but chavvy deep down and love it when a car pops a kitten. | |

| I read a similar thing, wasnt sure if that was the general consensus on the matter.
Im going to be wrapping the mani on the silvia and at a later date probably the system, for two reasons: 1st gas flow etc etc and most importantly 2nd flames and shit! haha | |

| Haha, it's funny really how everyone loves flames, I remember racing an Evo (trying 4s up in a stock Crx) and it just shooting like 3 foot flames on each change, I was in love. | |

| nah, he fitted roofrack but the chasis couldnt andle the extra bhp! the front of the car ripped away with the throttle jammed open leaving pallet sat in a chassis while he watched the front end do a 10sec quarter mile before the fuel in the line was used up | |
