| Hahaa mouse!
Well got a quote yesterday for, sorting the rust on his rear arches, filling the rear wiper, sorting the bonnet as its got a crese in and the one corner is damaged and full respray with any dents found been taken out, £500 but luke reckons kieran will sort us out when he actually pays
but we already flatted the whole car so he wont have to do much prep work
but to be honest pallet i would just get your arches sorted by a random welding place then flat your car down and get it sprayed elsewhere will work out cheaper i reckon

| Cheers man, I'm thinking of fully stripping down the inside metal and painting it black with some hard wearing plastic coat paint so I may change the colour of the exterior in the future. As I say I'll see what that other place say but ideally I need a full spray once I get some fibreglass wings sorted. And today it saw some sunlight so I fitted my Tegiwa lower tie bar and lowered the back down some more now it shouldn't scrub again only have about a cm left to drop on the coilovers but my offset is too wide to go anymore | |

| Im glad you mensioned the smiley face, haha
Id obviously side with getting arch work done over highering the car, for form and function reasons.
dont they do fogs that go in the side vents of the front bumper? would look better imo.
i dont think iv seen it on those weds before looks good.
nice to see some more love for it too, seems like its been a while

| Yeah I could put em in the vents, but everyone does it, and I only did t for looks didn't even wire them up haha, gonna de clutter all the shit tomorow if I get chance and raise the rear up so I can eventually get them rolled, once they get repaired in about a thousand years! | |

| Isnt there propper oem ones meant to fit in the vents?
Iv seen a few CRX's with tight fitting fogs in there and it looks good, better than plain imo

| Yeah but the oem Stanley ones are like rocking horse shit and command like £100+ for a set, and seems as I'm fully stripped out adding weight with fogs that don't even work is pretty pointless! I really can't wait to have it back out I'm so sick of the rav4 now, but I still can't see it being anytime soon as the bodywork is too shabby to get it back out before it's done! | |

| Nah man engines still in, waiting for Daz at DNR to pick it up for the engine work still. I've got some Perspex quarter windows just need a rear full window now. Also looking at getting fibreglass wings and bootlid made up which will help eliminate some more rust issues and shed a few pounds in the process. As for the shifter, it feels a bit wierd but I've only drive up my street twice with it, but the stroke isn't crazy as the bottom section acts as a shirt shifter then the top section pretty much brings it back to stock feel, just obviously higher up. Feels good though having everything in such a close vicinity of the wheel. | |

| if you tried mine (stock shifter and extension) next to that you'd be suprised how short it feels even though it doesnt 'if you catch my 'drift'
swear mine is stupid, it nearly comes back to the handbrake, i like it though weirdly enough.

| I think you could, but heard bad stories about them sagging, rattling and shit they are meant to be properly convexed and curved or something. If it's too much though then I'll probably just try a piece like you say! | |

| It's just while the dash is out, as I'm removing Alb etc so can tidy up the loom of all that suit once it's gone from the bay! You will barely see any of those wires will all be cable tied up behind the dash when it's ready to go back in! I'm already thinking I'm going to need a carpet and some doorcards and probably a radio and little speakers if I'm gonna seriously drive it as it pisses me off how noisy and bumpy etc it is just moving it about my street or drive. Time will tell I guess | |

| Well, after not hearing from Daz again I'm gonna pm the dude with the b18c in the for sale section. I've literally just got fed up with waiting on him now I mean I first spoke to him in June last year about this work, I'm pretty sure that isn't me being arsey or funny considering he had told me pickup last weekend, then this weekend, and no contact to even say I'm not gonna be able to do it. If you need something sorting, sort it yourself. | |
