| It's a 6 point safety devices beast, so all approved for motorsport etc! Took the cage down my local powdercoaters today to get a qoute on having it acid dipped, stripped to metal then re coated. Started at £100 buy told him to jog on and I'd spray it myself he said how about £60 then I said £50 you got a deal and he said ok so should get it back next week all fresh looking and ready to fit. | |

| At the ports we were just getting pure grief from the customs people and security, they must have thought we were drug mules smuggling stuff in. Only drugs worth takin to guernsey would be Viagra seems as the youngest person I saw there was about 300 years old! Funny thing about it we get back to England with a massive load of bars all wrapped up in bubble wrap and gaffa tape that could be stuffed full of anything and nobody bats an eyelid or asks anything! | |

| Another little update, ordered a 30m roll of heat wrap the other day. Decided to wrap the aem as it was a bit tatty in places, I'm still not sure what I think at the moment of it tbh but I dot want to take it off again and think I preferred it on as it was an absolute nightmare to wrap with all the bends. Just waiting on getting a set of ramps now to get the car in the air and going to wrap as much of the exhaust as possible. Should hopefully be getting the cage back today or tomorrow aswell so can get that fitted and see if my seats will fit around it. | |

| IV just wrapped my bike down pipes o much of a bitch to do is that and it made me itch for hours ..... the thinner the wrap the easier it is to do IV spotted something u have done wrong the hot breather of the rocker cover is connected to the COLDAIR intake so what the point of a COLDAIR intake if you connect to the hot air coming from the engine | |

| I've always thought with every Honda that the rocker breather was routed to the intake to draw vacuum from the head, as you say it will be warm air running to it though. Eventually I am going to run a catch tank anyway so that breather and the PCV will be routed to the catch tank and then ran to atmosphere. Although for mot you are supposed to run the catch tank back into the inlet as you shouldnt be venting gases to atmosphere unless through the exhaust. | |

| on my accord i blocked the 1 on the air-intake and fitted a small filter on the rocker but you do get a big of a oil smell in the car when driving fast in my case all the time by doing this it will stop the oil that being sucked out the rocker going into the inlet manifold | |

| Im going to have to see how much space I have between cage and my seats first as I'm worried it's already going to touch tbh. So may not be able to fit any padding but at the moment the only use it will get is some trackdays so helmets a must anyway. | |

It's ok I can get a new bulb for a few quid, unlike when you will have to go back to fiat and they will charge you £80 to change a bulb. Mouse tbf you may aswell buy a helmet, there only like £30 quid for cheap ones not as if you need the best when your inside a car anyway. | |

| Nope, seems like my bargaining skills backfired as he has had it two weeks now and still not done it, he reckons he did it last night and can collect later today, but he also reckoned he had done it Saturday for Tuesday collection! Don't think I'll be using him again in a hurry as it's a piss take! If I don't have it back, done by end of tomorrow I'll just go and get it back and take it elsewhere as there are plenty of places who do powdercoating locally. | |
