| Went to a Massive scrap yard today to get the intake mani, exhaust mani and distributor, when i say massive the place had a reception, they gave me a high vis vest to wear when I went in! I couldnt get the manifolds as the engine was still in the car, they are going to take the engine out and remove both manifolds for me so i just have to go collect them. I did however get some new sensors as most of mine are broke and the dizzy, with some fee magnecore leads Took it apart to check the condition, rotor and contacts seemed good Heres the leads before a good clean And heres the new sensors next to the old ones (il let you figure out which is which) Used some of this to help keep them sealed And heres them in | |

| Found some 'galv-tech' paint in the garage i used on the EF, looked at the tin and it says its heat resistant to 250 degrees c, so Jay and I cleaned the engine up, masked bits, took bits off and gave it a spray. Then while i was trying to get the intake mani gasket off the head (a complete bastard, if anyone knows of a good way to get it off pls tell me) Jay cleaned the gearbox up in preperation for some paint too. Heres the leads after a good going over with a cloth and some WD40. Gearbox prepped and sprayed Had to throw it together to see how it looked (everthings just sitting in place atm) | |

| Prepped the car car ready for it to go to the shop, while ry and jay got all the sound deadening shit out (was a complete bastard) i concentrated on putting the hubs, trailing arms etc back on. We put all the sound deadening in a bag once it was all out, seemed quite heavy, still to weigh it tho. on all fours again: Interior ready: i had a last second change of heart about the front end the morning it was due to go to the shop, i was looking out the kitchen window at it and it just looked sik, so i thought id keep it, plus its got the JDM fogs in, the 'JDM' front is getting more and more common, plus with the money i save i can get closer to being on road Went to see it at the shop today, dave's started on the filling, turns out it had a few dings and dents more than we thought. | |
